Clarks Wallabee boots are the most comfortable shoes I?ve ever found. With their thick real rubber soles, they?re like walking on a wrestling mat. (The only other shoes that came close had similar thick real rubber soles, but Simple doesn?t make them anymore.) Remember they run a half-size too big. The high boots like these are better, because the high-soles make it easy to twist your ankle, and the high-tops provide some support. Still, not for those with weak ankles, imho. I have accumulated three pairs, and LOVE them all. The leather is sturdier, but the suede is a bit cooler, and the canvas is very cool (good for the summer heat). This particular pair, with the racing stripes, is the most stylin? version of some shoes whose style is their comfortableness. Still, the only compliments you get while wearing Wallabees are from yourself for being smart enough to buy the most comfortable shoes on the planet.
